What does XHTML mean?
XHTML stands for Extensible Hypertext Markup Language and is a markup language mainly used for websites. Since 1 January 2022, however, it has also been used for annual financial reports, as according to the guidelines of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the annual financial reports of listed companies must be prepared in XHTML.
